About us
dstrct05 is an online fashion brand operated by ZERO FIVE DISTRICT, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For product enquiries, order assistance or policy questions, please use our Contact us form. We operate exclusively online.
Our pieces
We focus on quality and want you to be happy with the piece you receive. We take responsibility where a confirmed defect, incorrect item or sizing error on our part means it does not meet the agreed specifications.
Our collection includes ready-to-dispatch and made-to-order pieces. The product page identifies the applicable preparation time and available options. Please review the description, fabric, measurements and care information before ordering. If you need guidance, contact us before completing your purchase.
Only the customisation options expressly offered on the product page are available. Please supply any requested measurements accurately. We will not make additional design changes unless agreed in writing before the order is accepted.
We aim to represent our pieces accurately. Screen settings can affect colour appearance, and minor variations may occur in embroidery and fabric. This does not limit your rights if an item is faulty or materially differs from its description.
Measurements and alterations
For made-to-order pieces, production follows the size and available customisation selected at checkout. Changes after production begins may not be possible. Any later alteration depends on the construction of the piece and fabric availability; increasing its size or length cannot be guaranteed. Our Shipping & Returns Policy explains local alteration arrangements and charges.
Orders and payment
Please provide accurate contact, billing and delivery details. We will email confirmation of your order. If an item becomes unavailable or an error affects your order, we will contact you promptly to agree a resolution; if we cannot fulfil the order, we will refund the amount paid for the affected item and any applicable delivery charge.
Charged in AED. Your payment provider’s exchange rate and fees may apply. Prices displayed in other currencies are estimates. Applicable shipping charges and taxes are shown before you complete checkout.
Preparation, delivery and returns
Preparation times vary by product. Made-to-order production time is separate from courier transit time. Our Shipping & Returns Policy explains cancellations, delivery enquiries, return eligibility and refunds. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable law.
If your item is defective, incorrect or does not meet the agreed specifications, please use our Contact us form within two days of receiving it, including your order number and details of the issue. This reporting period does not affect statutory rights or valid claims for defects discovered later.
Made-to-order pieces are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Ready-to-wear return requests must be made within seven days of delivery, subject to original-condition requirements. A 5% administrative fee and applicable delivery or collection charges apply to approved voluntary change-of-mind returns, as detailed in Shipping & Returns. These charges do not apply to a confirmed defect, incorrect item or sizing error on our part; applicable refund, replacement or repair remedies are provided without charge.
For return refunds, we must receive and inspect the item first, unless otherwise agreed or required by law. Approved refunds are processed within two business days after receipt and inspection; your bank or payment provider determines when the credit reaches your account.
Gift cards
Gift cards are non-refundable, including before use, and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law. They are valid for one year from the date of issuance unless a longer period is required by applicable law. Any unused balance can be used towards later purchases during the validity period. The expiry date will be shown with the gift card. If your purchase exceeds the available balance, the difference can be paid using an accepted payment method.
To confirm: Configure and verify expiry before publication; do not shorten existing cards’ promised validity. Confirm restrictions in all enabled markets.
Protecting your gift card
Keep your gift-card code confidential and share it only with the intended recipient. We are not responsible for loss or misuse resulting from a code being shared, disclosed or accessed outside our control. If you suspect unauthorised use, contact us promptly through our Contact Us form. This does not exclude responsibility for our own error or affect your rights under applicable law.
Gift-card delivery and assistance
Digital gift cards are emailed once the order is processed. If “Send as a gift” is selected, the card is sent to the recipient’s email address provided at purchase. Otherwise, it is sent to the purchaser’s checkout email address.
Please ensure the email details are accurate and check spam or junk folders if the email has not arrived. For assistance with a missing email, contact us through our Contact Us form with your order number.
All requests are subject to purchase verification and a review of the gift card’s status, balance and redemption history. We will provide available email dispatch and delivery records as part of this review. Approval is not guaranteed. Only if the request is approved and the original card remains unused will it be deactivated and a new card issued for its verified balance. The original expiry date will remain unchanged.
Reporting an email as missing does not entitle the purchaser to a refund or additional gift-card value. This does not affect any rights under applicable law.
Retail partnership enquiries
Retail partnership enquiries are reviewed individually. Prices, quantities, payment arrangements, delivery, consignment responsibilities and any exclusivity must be agreed in writing before a partnership or trade order is confirmed. Submitting a proposal does not reserve stock or create an agreement.
Using this website
You may use this website for lawful personal shopping. Please do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or reproduce our original photography, branding or designs commercially without permission.
Applicable law and updates
These terms are governed by applicable UAE law, without excluding any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. Contact us first if an issue arises so we can seek a resolution. Updates will be dated on this page; the terms applicable when your order was placed will continue to govern that order, except where law requires otherwise.
Privacy Policy
Who is responsible
ZERO FIVE DISTRICT, trading as dstrct05, is responsible for the personal information processed for our store operations. For privacy enquiries or requests, please use our Contact us form and identify your message as a privacy request.
Information we use
We process information you provide when placing orders, creating an account, contacting us or subscribing to our newsletter. This may include your name, email, delivery and billing details, order history, correspondence, marketing preferences and any measurements supplied for an available customisation. Our platform and service providers also process device, browser, IP address and website interaction information. Payments are handled through our checkout payment providers; please do not send card details by email.
Information comes directly from you, from your use of the website, and from providers supporting payments, fulfilment and store operations.
Retail partnership enquiries
We use the business and contact details, website or social profile, and proposal you submit to assess potential wholesale or consignment arrangements and communicate with you about them. An enquiry does not enrol you in marketing. Relevant service providers may process these details to deliver the form and correspondence.
Gift-recipient privacy
When you send a gift card, we use the sender name, recipient details and message you provide to deliver and administer the gift card, assist with enquiries and review suspected misuse. Please provide only information needed for the gift and ensure you are entitled to share it. Receiving a gift card does not subscribe the recipient to marketing; they can choose to subscribe separately.
Why we use it
We use relevant information to process and deliver orders, provide requested customisation, respond to enquiries, manage returns, protect against fraud, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. If you subscribe, we use your email address to send collection news and other marketing. You may unsubscribe at any time; essential order messages will continue.
Customer insights and tailored marketing
Where permitted by law and subject to any required consent, we may analyse purchases, stated preferences and interactions with our store to understand customer interests, group customers with similar preferences and tailor product recommendations or marketing. This can include profiling for marketing purposes. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails and request that we stop using your information for direct marketing, including related profiling. Marketing choices do not affect your ability to purchase from us.
We use Shopify Network Intelligence, which combines information about interactions with our store with information from other merchants and Shopify to improve services, personalisation and advertising. This processing is subject to applicable consent and opt-out choices. Shopify is responsible for its processing for these enhanced services; see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal. You can also use our data-sharing opt-out page where applicable.
Service providers and international processing
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Information necessary to provide our services is shared with relevant providers, such as Shopify, payment processors, delivery partners and email service providers. Some providers process information outside the UAE. Applicable safeguards must be used for these transfers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights. Cookies and preferences
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your shopping session, remember preferences and support analytics and personalisation. Where required, our cookie banner lets you accept, decline or manage non-essential cookies. You can revisit Cookie preferences in the footer where available. Applicable data-sharing opt-outs and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. Newsletter consent is separate from advertising and cookie choices.
External websites
Links to social platforms or other websites take you to services operated independently of dstrct05. Review their privacy notices before sharing information with them.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and applicable recordkeeping obligations. We use appropriate safeguards to protect it, although no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, deletion or restriction of certain processing, and exercise other applicable data rights. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it. Use our Contact us form to make a request; we may need to verify your identity. You may also raise concerns with the relevant authority. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect your purchases.
